Waterford’s winning ways continued under manager Keith Long with a 3-1 victory in Cobh.
Roland Idowu and Ronan Coughlan put the Blues two goals up inside 11 minutes at St. Colman’s Park
Jack Doherty halved the deficit from the penalty spot just after the hour mark but Waterford wrapped up with win with Shane Griffin’s goal ten minutes from time.
The victory moves Long’s team into third in the table above Cobh on goal difference.
They remain ten points behind table toppers Galway United who made it eight wins from eight so far this season (after a 4-0 away win in Wexford).
Liam Coughlan captured the action with his camera and his gallery can be viewed here.
