BRAY WANDERERS
Bray Wanderers host Treaty United on Monday as they bid to put an end to their poor run of form (kick-off is at 3pm).
The Seagulls are winless in their last three games – although two of those three were against league leaders Galway United and Waterford.
The most recent of which was a 2-1 loss at home to Waterford, but Ian Ryan’s side impressed at the Carlisle Grounds on that occasion.
Cole Omorehiomwan gave Bray a third minute lead – but a red card to Max Murphy and a resulting Ronan Coughlan brace defeated Ryan’s side.
But if they turn in a similar type of performance against Treaty on Monday they should pick up another win.
“We have really good home form,” Ryan said on Friday night. “It was disappointing to lose that on Friday.
“But we have a good band of games that we would like to go and win. We are up at the top end of the league and that is important.
“But we always want more.”
Max Murphy will miss out via a suspension while Ben Feeney and Ger Shortt are doubts after missing out on Friday’s loss to Waterford.
Len O’Sullivan, Conor Crowley, Jake Walker and Eoin Farrell are all likely to remain out.
TREATY UNITED
After claiming just their second win of the season against Kerry on Friday, Tommy Barrett brings his Treaty United side to Bray on Bank Holiday Monday.
The Shannonsiders eased past the challenge of Billy Dennehy’s side – with Dean George, Success Edogun (x2) and Ben O’Riordan all netted for the hosts.
And the win catapulted Treaty up to 8th in the table, and they are now just a point behind Wexford in 7th.
Their cause was also aided by the return of striker Enda Curran to the pitch – while experienced left-back Marc Ludden also returned to the bench.
However, Conor Winn and Mark Walsh are likely to remain absent against the Seagulls on Monday afternoon.
Referee: Alan Patchell.
