WEXFORD YOUTHS
Youths will be looking to keep the pressure on Peamount United with a win against Bohemians when they host the Gypsies next Saturday (kick-off 6.30pm).
Wexford have lost just one game this season and that was on the opening day of the season against the current WNL Champions.
They faced Cork City last week and Youths ran out 3-1 winners at Turners Cross to keep them just two points behind Peamount.
Aoibheann Clancy and Sinead Taylor put Wexford into the lead with goals in the 20th and 56th minutes.
Sarah McKevitt caused a scare for Youths when she gave the Rebels some hope with a goal in the 74th minute but Clancy scored her second of the game late on to make sure her side claimed the three points.
Depending on how results go elsewhere Wexford could go top of the WNL this weekend so it is imperative that they get their fifth win in a row on Saturday.
Tom Elmes has no new injury concerns coming into the weekend although Aoife Slattery is still absent due to a long term injury.
BOHEMIANS
The Gypsies have another tough test ahead of them on Saturday afternoon when they meet Wexford Youths at Ferrycarrig Park.
They faced DLR Waves last weekend at the UCD Bowl where they lost 1-0 after conceding a long range effort from Shauna Carroll on the stroke of half-time.
That one goal meant that Bohs lost their second game in a row, having lost to Peamount United in the game before.
Youths will provide another stern test for Sean Byrne’s side but if they can keep things as tight as they did against Waves they could get a result when they travel to Wexford this weekend.
Sean Byrne has practically a full cohort of players to choose from for the game against Youths this weekend aside from Ally Cahill who is unavailable due to another commitment.
MATCH STATS

Tom Elmes’ side have scored the most goals so far this season with 17.
