SHELBOURNE
Shelbourne welcome Dublin rivals DLR Waves to Tolka Park on Saturday afternoon in the Women’s National League (kick-off is at 2pm).
The Reds come into the game after a week off in the aftermath of their 2-1 defeat away to Peamount United.
However, the Reds had won their opening two league games of the season, with wins over Athlone Town and Cork City.
Noel King’s side won their opening day game away to Athlone by two goals to nil, while they saw off Cork City by three a week later.
Ciara Grant scored for Shels in their 2-1 defeat away to Peamount at Greenogue, as they could not claw their way back from a two-goal deficit.
In terms of team news for this afternoon’s game, Rebecca Creagh and Chloe Mustaki remain out. Alex Kavanagh is expected to return.
DLR WAVES
After a positive start to the season, DLR Waves make the trip to Tolka Park to face Shelbourne.
Graham Kelly’s side have yet to taste defeat this term, with two wins and a draw from their first three games.
Waves opening league game of the season saw them pick up a 1-1 draw at home to Wexford Youths.
They would follow up that point with a late win over Galway WFC, before then edging their way past Cork City last week.
However, they were dealt a hammer blow this week as it emerged that Kate Mooney will miss the rest of the season with a long-term injury.
Louise Corrigan and Jane McKevitt will also miss out on tomorrow’s game in Drumcondra with injury.
Referee: TBC.
