BOHEMIANS
The Gypsies are getting prepared for another tough Dublin Derby when they host Shelbourne this Saturday afternoon in the Women’s National League (kick-off 2pm).
Bohs fell to their third loss in a row last Saturday when they faced Wexford Youths at Ferrycarrig Park.
Sean Byrne’s side lost out to a hugely in form Wexford side that scored seven goals during that game.
The one consolation that the side can take away from the game is Erica Burke’s second half goal, her second of the season.
It’s another tough one for Bohemians on Saturday with the visit of Shelbourne who will be looking to stay in touch with the top of the table and who are also looking very strong in recent weeks.
Bohemians have two absentees with Erica Byrne and Aoife Robinson both ruled out for this weekend through injury.
SHELBOURNE
Noel King’s side have recovered well since their loss to Peamount United in April as they recorded their third win in a row last weekend.
That 5-0 win over Galway at Tolka Park was also their second such win in a row having beaten Treaty United by the same score a week previous.
Shels raced into a 4-0 lead in the first half with Jessica Ziu, Jamie Finn, Ciara Grant and Saoirse Noonan all scoring for the home side.
Noelle Murray completed the scoring in the 75th minute for another great win for Shelbourne.
With the Reds looking to gain ground on League leaders Peamount United, a win is the minimum result they’ll be looking for on Saturday afternoon.
Rebecca Creagh and Alex Kavanagh are still absent for Shels long term, Chloe Mustaki is in the final stages of her rehab from injury but its unlikely she will return before the mid-season break.
MATCH STATS
Shelbourne have won three games in a row coming into this weekend and they have scored 12 goals across those games.
The Gypsies have gone five games without a win.
Bohs and Shels have met just once in WNL competition with the Reds running out 3-0 winners at Tolka Park last August.

Bohemians 10/1; Draw 6/1; Shelbourne 1/10.
