DROGHEDA UNITED
Drogheda United will be looking to compound Bohemians’ league woes when they welcome Keith Long’s side to Head in the Game Park (kick-off is at 2pm).
Tim Clancy’s side come into the game having recently earned a point against Sligo Rovers on Friday night.
Chris Lyons prodded home from close range after some good work from Daniel O’Reilly created an opening for Drogs.
However, teenage striker Johnny Kenny denied the hosts all three points with an equaliser.
In terms of team news, Drogs are expected to be without Mark Hughes and Dinny Corcoran again.
Conor Kane and Jake Hyland are rated as doubts.
BOHEMIANS
Bohemians will be looking to bring an end to their wretched losing run when they visit Drogheda United at Head in the Game Park on Monday afternoon.
Bohs have lost their last three on the spin, with the most recent coming at home to Derry City.
Bohs did in fact take a lead through Georgie Kelly’s spot-kick, but defensive frailties cost them dearly as the Candystripes left with all three points.
As a result, Bohs find themselves in 8th position in the league table – just a point behind ninth placed Waterford.
In terms of team news for today’s game, Bohs are expected to be without Bastien Hery and Stephen Mallon again.\
James Finnerty is returning from suspension however.
Referee: John McLoughlin.
MATCH STATS
Bohemians have lost their last three games on the spin, while Drogheda United are winless in their previous four.
The Boynesiders have not defeated Bohemians at home since 2014 – when they earned a 1-0 win over the Gypsies.
