COBH RAMBLERS
Cobh will be looking to bounce back from Friday’s defeat to league leaders Cabinteely when they welcome Wexford to St Colman’s Park on Tuesday night (kick-off 7.45pm).
Despite creating numerous chances in Stradbrook, the Rams found Cabo shot-stopper Michael Kelly in great form.
A string of saves from Kelly and a second half strike by Shane Barnes earned all three points for the home side.
“Credit to the lad, he (Mick Kelly) pulled some good saves off there, but from that point of view we just need a bit of luck,” Ashton said, speaking to extratime.com after the game.
“From mine, and the coaching staff’s points of view, we can only keep praising those things and hopefully we can get that bounce of the ball and rub of the green.”
Ashton will have new signing Naythan Coleman available for the game.

WEXFORD
Like Cobh, Wexford will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they travel to St Colman’s Park on Tuesday

Goals from Thomas Oluwa and Max murphy helped Shamrock Rovers II to all three points against Wexford.
Wexford had been in good form post-lockdown, beating Athlone Town away from Ferrycarrig Park and picking up a creditable home draw with league leaders Cabinteely.
