CABINTEELY
Cabinteely's final home game of their third season in the League of Ireland sees them welcome struggling Athlone Town to Stradbrook Park (kick-off 7.45pm).
Whatever happens in the next two games, this is already Cabinteely's best year in senior football as they'll have surpassed last season's seventh-place finish.
Last week saw Pat Devlin's side end Cobh Ramblers' title aspirations with a comprehensive 3-0 win at St Colman's Park.
Two goals from Joe Doyle and a third from Bohemians Dean Casey wrapped up the win for the visitors.
That result keeps Cabo in with a slim chance of snatching third spot from UCD, whom they lie six points behind with two to play, but beating Longford Town to third seems a more realistic target.
There is no team news available for Cabinteely.
ATHLONE TOWN
Athlone Town's miserable season took another turn for the worse during the week as they were sanctioned by the FAI for their reaction to the conclusion of an FAI betting inquiry.
That enquiry saw Igors Labuts and Dragos Srfijan banned for 12 months for breaching FAI codes on match-fixing.
And this week has seen another player, Jason Lyons, banned for seven week on an unrelated matter after he was found guilty of betting on League of Ireland games.
Athlone have not provided any team news.
