COBH RAMBLERS
Cobh Ramblers will be looking to make a dent in the 100% record of Limerick, as they welcome the Shannonsiders to St. Coleman’s Park on Saturday night (KO 7:15). It will be the forth meeting between the sides this season.
The Rams come into this game off the back of a draw away to Athlone, a home win against Shelbourne and a loss to Drogheda United in Louth, although the did win the Munster Senior Cup during this time, beating Munster Senior League side, Rockmount 2-1 in Turners Cross.
Stephen Henderson’s men are third in the table, behind last seasons relegated sides, Drogheda United and Saturday night opponents, Limerick, althought they are 13 points off the pace.

The Shannonsiders come into this game without dropping a single point, and progressing to the semi-final of the EA Sports Cup, knocking out Premier Division high-flyers Galway United.
If Cobh are going to have any chance of winning this one, they will have to look out for the returning home town boy John O’Flynn, the former Cork City striker scored a hattrick in thier recent 7-2 win against Waterford United and picked up the Extratime.ie First Division player of the month for April.
The last time these two met in the league, it finished 6-1 to the Shannonsiders in Markets Field, Stephen Kenny, Chris Mulhall, Aaron Greene, Garbhan Coughlan, Robbie Williams and John O’Flynn all scored for Limerick that night.
Limerick are sitting pretty on the top of the First Division table, having won all of their nine games so far this season. Martin Russels men have scored a phemonial 40 goals already, seeing them with +32 goal difference.
