PEAMOUNT United hosts Cork City Women’s FC as they look to claim fourth spot in this season’s league.
League champions in 2011-12, Robbie Mulligan has rebuilt the Peas side this season and booked a place in the Continental Tyres Women’s League Cup Final earlier this month.
“We had a bad performance and result last weekend at home to Wexford,” said Mulligan. “We want to get that out of our system.
“The League Cup Final is nine weeks away. It’s great motivation for everyone in the panel to work hard and make it into the team for then.”
Peas sit in fourth position, some 18 points behind leaders Wexford Youths, though mulligan has concerns about the visit of the league’s bottom side.
“We dropped points when we played them in Bishopstown, Charlie Lynch is working hard down there, it might not be showing yet, but it will come good,” he added.
Mulligan is without Laura Traynor (shoulder), Anna McCormack (knee) and Rachel Doyle who suffered a quad injury, though welcomes back Michelle Dunne after a long absence.
Cork City travel to Greenogue having suffered a 10 goal defeat to Raheny United last weekend, although they had taken the lead through Katie McCarthy.
Charlie Lynch’s side are looking for their first away point of the season in their last trip to Dublin of the 2014/15 season.
