WNL Preview: UCD Waves v Castlebar Celtic FC

UCD Waves will look to continue their impressive start to the campaign – six points with seven goals scored and none conceded – when they welcome Castlebar Celtic to Jackson Park.

 

Many of the players involved will be returning from international duty and Waves boss Eileen Gleeson will be delighted to return to league action.

 

Gleeson said: “Everybody is back from international duty and raring to get back into club action. Castlebar have very good attacking players so we’ll have to be wary of them.

 

“We’ve had full training sessions with those left behind and have had two weeks off game time. After a tough pre-season perhaps it wasn’t the worst timing and everybody will be refreshed.”
