COBH RAMBLERS
Cobh Ramblers will be hoping to end their season in convincing fashion, starting when they host Wexford Youths on Saturday night.
New signing Eoghan Murphy was red carded in his last game and is out of the Wexford game and Brendan Frahill is also, as he is serving a one match ban after collecting four yellow cards.
Midfielder Gary Comerford is a slight doubt with an ankle injury, while George Gill is missing with a knee strain that has kept him out of the last two matches.
Speaking ahead of the game Martin Cambridge said his side were working hard to avoid conceding goals at the back.
“We have to try and stem the tide and cut down on the number of goals we are letting in at the back and we have worked on that in the training ground this week.”
WEXFORD YOUTHS
Wexford Youths make the trip to St Coleman’s Park to take on Cobh on Saturday night, fully aware that they are what looks like a straight battle with Galway United for 3rd spot.
Wexford manager Shane Keegan is backing his side to come good into the final six games.
“There is no doubt that there is a real belief in this group now and nothing will faze them over the remainder of the season”
Wexford Youths will have Gary Delaney back after being cup tied and Adam Cox may also come back in. However long term absentees Sean Skelly, Jimmy Dermody and Ricky Fox will miss out.
Referee: Kevin O’Regan
