WEXFORD Youths host Galway WFC on Saturday evening with the two sides expecting another tight contest after they drew 2-2 at the start of the campaign.

 

Youths are hoping Jessing Gleeson is fit to return while Kylie Murphy returned last week, Jenny Clifford is still out and Linda Douglas is a doubt (head injury).

 

“Last week we were very poor in the first half and the breeze impacted. DLR went 2-0 up but then we dominated after that. We got the draw at the end. It was decent enough crowd and we believe the Saturday night worked,” said Peter Doyle.

 

Galway have Lucy Hannon (ankle) out after she picked up a knock in a friendly against Midlands Development side

 

Coach Nigel Keady said: “We drew 2-2 with Wexford in the first game and they’re one of the sides in the middle section of the league with ourselves. These games can go either way so we’ll go there looking to compete.”
