Peamount United v Cork Women's FC

Peamount United will host Cork Women’s FC on Saturday afternoon looking to secure the three points to draw level with leaders Raheny United – who are tied up with FAI Umbro Women’s Cup Final duties.
Cork have had a poor season with injuries taking their toll and are still chasing their first point after six defeats.
“Everybody is looking for good for tomorrow. We’re looking forward to playing again after the international break. We have a big squad so even with five away with Ireland we trained normally. All five Peamount players played against Slovenia so that was good,” said Peas boss Eileen Gleeson.
“It’s our first Saturday game but we go through the same preparation. We had a good display down in Galway last time and hope to build on that.”
Cork continue to operate without regular goalkeeper Trish Fennelly and Linda McNamara so Amy Lee-Quinn, who played in goal against Wexford last time out, should continue. Michelle Brown (hamstring) is out while Val Leahy has work commitments.
“We got a good turn-out last time around in Cobh. Unfortunately they took their chances and Edel Kennedy scored four against us. We can see signs of improvement and with players coming back from injury it’s getting better but it’ll be tough,” said Cork’s Chris O’Mahony.
