DLR WAVES had a solid victory over Galway last week but know that the bar will be raised when they host title-chasing Peamount United on Sunday.
The home side are likely to be without Emma Byrne (hamstring) but Niamh Connolly is fit. Peamount's only absentee is long-term injury victim Sara Lawler.
"We'll give it a lash. We approach every game trying to win and we won't sit back. We'll try to get them as much as possible but there's the danger with the pace they have can catch you on the break," said DLR coach Larry Mahoney.
"We're going in with a good result under our belt and I felt we deserved the win last week even if we had a bit of luck. Our keeper Avril Kilkelly made three very important saves. Every time I watch them play it can be tight until they score and so we have to get a goal ahead of them. Last year we did that and we kept it."
Peamount boss Eileen Gleeson said: "We're looking forward to the game after a good win last week. DLR have some very good players and have good forwards and midfield. I'm sure they are confident.
"I was particularly pleased with how we did in the second half against Castlebar last week. Our forwards were very good and Aine O'Gorman was in very good form, scoring a hat-trick."
