DLR Waves host Peamount United hoping to repeat their memorable victory over the Peas last season which ultimately denied the inaugural title winners their crown. DLR beat Wilton United 4-0 in the WFAI Cup last week.
Waves coach Larry Mahony said: “Everyone’s fit. There are a few strains but we should be okay. We played very well in the second half so hope to carry that form in. We have to step it against a side like Peamount.
“We’re scoring a few goals now which is a new thing for us. It’s another thing that’s building confidence. We’ve won two in a row so looking for three. We did very well in one game against Peamount last year so that’s the level we want to reach again.”
Peamount boss Eileen Gleeson said: “All good for Sunday. Squad is the same. Dora Gorman should be available for the first time this season.
“Last week wasn’t a good performance, especially in the second half. We’ll look to improve on that. We know DLR are well organised and have added good players so we know they’re not a team to be taken for granted.”
