Sligo Rovers suffered another slip-up in the title race after being held to a scoreless draw by Bohemians in The Showgrounds on Saturday evening.
The best chances of the game came in the opening ten minutes with chances from Kieran Djilali and Liam Martin, but in the end they visitors held out for a valuable point.
This game saw Danny North return to League action for the first time this season, but despite making his presence known in the box, the chances just weren't falling to him on the night as the champions failed to score for the fourth time in a row in the League.
The Bit O' Red almost broke the deadlock inside the first minute when Liam Martin played Aaron Greene through who crossed for Kieran Djilali whose effort was brilliantly cleared off the line by Owen Heary.
The home side went close again just seven minutes later David Cawley released Djilali down the left, crossing for Martin who saw a header come back off the woodwork.
Bohemians only effort of note in the opening half was a cross from Kevin Devaney that found Dave Scully, but he couldn't keep his header down.
Rovers remained on top throughout the half without creating anymore chances before half-time.
The second-half was one of little action or chances at either end of the pitch, Gavin Peers coming closest in the 90th minute when his drilled effort from distance went narrowly wide of the target.
