BRAY WANDERERS
The Seagulls welcome UCD to the Seaside in a rearranged 3pm Sunday kick off. Pat Devlin's squad currently sit bottom of the table five points off UCD in ninth.
David Webster is suspended for this weekends clash with the Students as he pays the price for picking up a second yellow card in injury time last weekend away to Drogheda United.
On the positive side of things Webster looks likely to be the only man missing from an otherwise healthy Bray squad with Eoin Hyland the only doubt as he attempts to recover from a hamstring injury in time for the 3pm kick off.
Daire Doyle has been out of action for the past three weeks with an ankle injury but having restarted training during the week he now looks likely to be in line for a recall to Pat Devlin's team.
Having been beaten comfortably last weekend in Hunky Dorys Park it was understandable that Devlin was frustrated that his side appear to not be learning their lessons from their recent defeats. It was Bray's fifth defeat in all competitions but it's now fourteen games since Bray last won.
"It was the same old story, it was a game we should not have lost but we did. We didn't lose too much ground however, and we now need to remain focused."
The Seagulls last win in the league was against UCD all the way back on June 8th so Devlin knows that this game could be the difference maker in whether his side can avoid the drop.
"Games between us are always interesting, I expect nothing different this time, we will prepare ourselves well for the task ahead".
UCD
UCD travel to Bray hoping to bounce back from a two nil defeat last time out against Dundalk. The last time these two sides met a nine goal thriller ensued with Jason Byrne smashing four past the a ragged Students defence.
Michael Kelly is suspended for this game having been given one of the most bizarre red cards in League Of Ireland history against Dundalk. Kelly was originally booked for entering the field of play prematurely before the injured Michael Leahy had finished been helped off the field before a rash challenge a few minutes later saw him head for an early bath.
Captain Leahy appears to have shaken off the knock suffered last weekend and will be back at the heart of the defence on Sunday. Aymen Ben Mohammed therefore remains the only long term absentee for the College.
Boss Martin Russell is looking forward to the novelty of a Sunday afternoon fixture.
"Super Sunday by the seaside is definitely a game we are looking forward to. The two previous games have been very open and I expect something similar on Sunday with our focus firmly on taking three points and pushing as far up the table as possible."
