WEXFORD YOUTHS
Wexford Youths will be hoping to get back to winning ways after the disappointment of their 5-0 defeat against Cobh Ramblers last weekend. Shane Keegan's men face Athlone Town at Ferrycarrig Park on Friday night.
Thankfully for them, there were no injuries or suspensions suffered during the loss at St Colman’s Park and they host the Lissywoollen outfit with a full squad at their disposal and are an entirely different proposition on home soil at Ferrycarrig Park.
ATHLONE TOWN
Athlone Town too are looking for their first win of the season after the disappointment of an opening day draw at home against Mervue United was followed up by elimination from the EA Sports Cup at the hands of midlands rivals Longford Town.
Roddy Collins has no suspensions to worry about for the trip south and only one injury concern with Garbhan Coughlan who is carrying a knock and is a week away from being available for selection again.
Referee: Keith Callanan.
MATCH STATS
Of their four meetings in the league last season, Wexford came out on top three times, the aforementioned 2-1 home reverse being their only dropped points against The Town all year.
