Derry City -v- Bohemians

Derry City welcome Bohemians to the Brandywell on Friday evening knowing that win, lose or draw, their league positions will remain unaltered. Derry City do mathematically have a possibility of ending up in second place but it would require a win and a gain of 13 goals on Sligo Rovers and so this game will be more about finishing on a high and rivalry than anything else. (kick-off 7.45pm)
Bohemians have a poor record against Derry City this season. Three losses, six goals conceded and none scored is a stat Pat Fenlon's men will want to change. Fenlon should have a nearly full strength squad to pick from. Former Derry player Killian Brennan (ankle) and Aidan Price (leg) are struggling to be fit for the clash.
Stephen Kenny on the other hand has a number of missing players. Stewart Greacen (hamstring) and Gareth McGlynn (calf) miss out through injury, whilst Ryan McBride and Kevin Deery are suspended.
Talking to the Derry Journal, Kenny is expecting a lively and open game.
“They are a decent side, make no mistake about that and I think it could prove to be a very entertaining game.
“I don’t think either of the teams will be ‘cagey’ or anything like that. I think it will be free-flowing and entertaining with both teams attempting to win and end the season on a high.”
