Drogheda United welcome Bray Wanderers to Hunky Dorys Park tonight (kick off 7.45pm) for an important early season bottom of the table clash.
The sides lie 9th and 10th respectively in the table with just two points gathered between the teams. Both teams remain the only sides without a win this season so far in the Airtricity Premier Division.
Drogheda United’s five games so far have yielded just two points following draws against Dundalk and Sligo Rovers. Drogheda have scored seven goals but their problems remain at the back having conceded 15 goals in just five games, nine of which have been conceded at home in three games.
Jamie Harris is a doubt for Drogheda after being substituted on Friday night. Corrie Treacy remains a doubt but John Flood returns following a suspension.
Bray Wanderers are rooted to the bottom of the table with no points from their four games so far. They have scored just two and conceded seven. Eddie Gormley has added newly signed Stephen Brennan to his squad for the game adding more experience to his young squad. There were no injuries reported after Friday week's game at Belfield Bowl. If Colm Tresson plays on Monday he will be making his 350th league appearance for the Seagulls.
Gormley, speaking after Bray's defeat at the hands of U.C.D. said he was disappointed with the result. He said "Everybody realised it was going to be a difficult season, but there wasn't a lot in the game on Friday week, I feel we deserved something out of it", He added "It will be tough on Monday night, it will be difficult but we will go out and give it our best shot and see what happens."
