- Buckley can welcome Stephen Paisley back to the squad, after the centre-back returned to action from a seven-week lay-off for Monday’s Leinster Senior Cup defeat at Shelbourne.
- Bohemians have defeated Sporting Fingal twice this season, home and away. The only other side to have won against the Ravens is UCD last week.
- Bohemians will play two Dublin derbies in four days, as they face UCD on Monday.
- “We need to kick on from here and the players need to continue this run. They are a decent team. They are up in the table on their merits and we know it’s going to be tough. We played well up in Fingal but, although we won, we didn’t play too well in Dalymount,” – Bohs manager Pat Fenlon
- ”Unquestionably, they [Bohs] are the team to catch this season. They may have dropped more points than normal so far but, with the depth of their squad, I expect them now to make a serious charge for a three-in-a-row of titles. Facing the champions is a challenge our lads look forward to. As we showed in our last league visit to Dalymount, there wasn’t much between the sides apart from a disputed penalty though I’ve no complaints about their win at our place.” – Sporting manager Liam Buckley
