Bohemians FC return to Airtricity League action as they host second placed Dundalk FC this Friday at Dalymount Park, Kick-off 7.45pm.
Injuries and suspensions have played a huge part in Bohemians frustrating first half of the season which has left the North Dublin club lying in fifth place but still only four points behind top spot.
Bohemians have injury concerns ahead of Friday night’s clash, with both Killian Brennan and Jason Byrne doubtful. Steven Gray and Anto Murphy are also on the maybe list, both struggling with Achilles problems. Glen Cronin is suspended while Raffaele Cretaro could return after he played in a friendly match last weekend following shin surgery. Aaron Greene also looks set to return.
Bohemians manager Pat Fenlon is looking forward to the second half of the season and would like to have a settled team in place without chopping and changing every week.
“We’re looking forward to the start of it again,” Fenlon said. “We’d like to get a settled team. We’ve been chopping and changing centre half partnerships, centre midfields, centre forwards. We’d like to get a bit of solidity into the team and hopefully that will happen over the next few weeks."
Bohemians have only scored five goals in their last seven home games.
This week Dundalk were drawn in the first round of the Europa League against Luxembourg's Grevenmacher with the winners playing Levski Sofia in the second round.
Dundalk travel to Dalymount on the back of a defeats to Sporting Fingal and UCD and will be looking to get back to winning ways.
For the trip to Dalymount, Foster will be without Liam Burns (abdomen), Peter Cherrie (foot) and Michael Synnott (knee).
