Bohemians welcome Drogheda United to Dalymount Park on Monday night (kick-off 7.45pm) in what is yet another must win game for both teams.
Both teams are in desperate need of three points but for vastly different reasons. Drogheda are fighting to stay in the division and avoid relegation while Bohs have still not given up hope of reeling in Rovers and making it three league titles in a row.
The teams met only three weeks ago in Hunky Dorys Park, where Bohs emerged with a 1-0 thanks to a late goal from Gareth McGlynn and Pat Fenlon admits he expects another tough game on Monday.
“Gareth scored a great winner for us in Drogheda, and they will make it hard for us again as they go looking to nick at least a point from us,” he told Bohemians.ie.
Fenlon is also boosted by the news that he has almost full team to choose from – Stephen Gray and Anto Murphy are still recovering from long-term injuries.
However Drogheda United will be without Eric McGill who is injured and Glen Fitzpatrick, who is suspended.
It's getting even more difficult for The Drogs and after Monday's trip to Dalymount things may be looking even worse. For Bohs on the other hand, all they can do is win and hope Ian Foster's Dundalk side do them a favour at Oriel Park.
