Cork City look to secure third place and with that qualification for the Europa League, as they take on Dundalk at Turners Cross on Friday night. (Kick off 7.45pm)
Paul Doolin's side come into the game on the back of a 0-0 draw with Drogheda United, a result which kept them three points ahead of Derry City in the hunt for a vital third place finish. If Cork can secure third place it would see European football back at Turners Cross next season in the shape of the Europa League.
Meanwhile, Dundalk are without a win in six games, with their last win coming against Galway United back at the end of September. However, The Lilywhites need only just one win form their final two games to secure a respectable fifth place finish.
For Cork it’s all about finishing third and claiming that European spot which would be season as a fantastic achievement in a very difficult season for The Rebel Army. While Dundalk have little to play for except a guaranteed finish of fifth place. Extratime.ie prediction, Cork to win 1-0.
