Sporting Fingal kept up the pressure on top two UCD and Shelbourne with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Finn Harps at Morton Stadium on Friday night. The win lifts Liam Buckley's side to ten points, however, with the leading duo also recording wins, the title favourites remain five points adrift in third.

Eamon Zayed was the goal hero, striking from an acute angle two minutes before half time, as Fingal made it three wins on the spin and in the process condemned Harps to a second straight league defeat.
