Kildare County vs Waterford United

Tony Cousins takes charge of Kildare County for the first time on Friday night as they entertain Waterford United in Station Road, who will need a win to keep their slim title hope alive. (Kickoff 19:45).
The month of October will be the one Waterford will look back on with greatest disappointment this season, having lost to title rivals Dundalk, Limerick and Sporting Fingal. The only win of the month came courtesy of a walkover against Athlone Town. They will be looking to rectify this losing streak against Kildare County, who have also lost 3 out of 4 games this month, resulting in the manager John Ryan resigning after a poor display against Fingal.
Blues boss Gareth Cronin has vowed to fight to the end, despite conceding the fact to win the title now would be highly unlikely.
"To lose our last three games in the manner we did and at such an important time is hard to take, but we will just get on with it and see what the future holds.
"We probably won't win the league now but we will keep going and try and win our last three games. We owe that to Dundalk and Shelbourne.
"We will keep going until the end, see if we can reach 69 points, and hope that will be enough."
Cronin will be without Willie Joe Kiely who was sent off in the match against Dundalk, whilst Michael Foley is out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury.
Tony Cousins has no suspensions going into the game. The match kicks off at 19:45.
Extratime Prediction: Cronin’s men to win the game 3-1.
