Preview: Athlone Town vs Shelbourne

League leaders Shelbourne take on Athlone Town in Lissywollen this Sunday at 3pm as they aim to regain top spot from Dundalk.
On Tuesday Athlone Town earned a battling 1-1 draw with Waterford United, a match in which the team gained a great confidence boost.Manager Dermot Lennon has selection worries with Ian Rossiter who was sent off in Tuesday nights match against Waterford serving a one match suspension and Ciaran Kelly (Shoulder) who will definitely be unavailable for selection. Niall Scullion returned to training this week after a long spell on the treatment table and could be back for selection.
Dermot Keely welcomes Alan Murphy back from suspension, however David McGill will miss the game having reached the requisite number of yellow cards. James Keddy, Alan Byrne and Philly Hughes are all suffering injuries. Greg O'Halloran is struggling with a calf injury but is expected to be available for Sunday.
The match kicks off at 3pm.
