DLR Waves v Castlebar Celtic

DLR Waves will look to maintain their impressive recent form when they host Castlebar Celtic at Jackson Park on Sunday.

Michelle Dunne (calf strain) a doubt for DLR Waves while Lisa Casserly is away for Celtic on U17 international duty while Emma Hansberry and Sarah Rowe are away with the Ireland U19s.

“Hopefully we can build on last game. We’ve struggled to put two good performances together. We’d a very tough game against Castlebar earlier in the season. They have good attacking players so we have to be wary about that,” said DLR coach Larry Mahony.

Celtic boss John Morris-Burke was pleased with how his side performed in an unfortunate defeat against Peamount last time out and wants to bounce back on Sunday. He said: “We conceded just before half-time and then just after half-time and that had a big impact. We get punished for giving the ball away cheaply. We’ll be competitive on Sunday.”
