FAI Cup First Round draw

The draw for the first Round of the Ford FAI Cup has taken place. This earliest round of the competition involves the last 16 teams in the FAI Intermediate Cup, along with the four semi-finalists from the FAI Junior Cup.

 

With twenty league teams to join in Round Two there will be eight First Round games and four teams progressing with a bye. Among those to get a free pass to the next stage are Cork sides Avondale United and Bandon AFC, Dubliners Bluebell United and the winners of the fourth Junior Cup Quarter-final.
