Longford secure new Stadium sponsor

Longford Town have secured a new Ground sponsor. Their new sponsor for the forthcoming seasons is “City Calling Group”. Since the 21st February 2013 Longford Town’s home venue will be known as “City Calling Stadium”. Coupled with this City Calling Group will also become the club’s main shirt sponsor.
In response to the new sponsorship Longford Town’s Chairman Jim Hanley has expressed his thanks and excitement at the new sponsorships that comes at a time when the economic downturn has affected revenue across the country like never before.
"We are delighted to welcome our new sponsors and we are thrilled that Longford Town FC has been able to attract an Irish Company with such potential international status."
Hanley added, “It is important for us that this relationship is developed and endures during the forthcoming years. The new sponsorship endorses our commitment to sustaining a financially sound base for Longford Town football club for the future.”
The managing director of the City Calling Group, Phil Munnelly is no stranger to Longford Town FC as he has been a club sponsor with Munnelly's for a few seasons now. Phil who regularly attends home Airtricity league games was key to Keith Gillespie joining the club two seasons ago.
“The City Calling Group are delighted to support Longford Town FC in their endeavour to achieve Airtricity Premier Division status. It is important for the club and the people of Longford that this ambition becomes a reality as quickly as possible. It’s great to anticipate top flight football occurring weekly in the midlands again.”
