Elebert joins Shamrock Rovers

 

Shamrock Rovers have signed David Elebert on a one-year-deal.

The Dublin born defender joins from Icelandic Premier Division outfit Fylkir, who finished seventh in last season's League campaign.

Prior to his move to Iceland, the 26-year-old spent five years with Scottish side Hamilton Academical and helped them earn promotion to the Scottish Premier League in 2008, Hamilton's first spell in the top tier for 20 years.

Elebert has also played for Preston North End and spent time at Scarborough on loan during his time in England.
