Home Farm feature in new football show
A new football programme starting on Monday night on Setanta Sports will go behind the scenes in schoolboy football in Ireland in the first show of its kind in the country.
The show, Premier Ambitions, is a new six-part programme that goes behind the scenes at Dublin schoolboy club, Home Farm, as their Under-15 team compete in their DDSL league.
Episode one sets up the club and covers the very start of the season, illustrating what the new show is all about.
The promo video (below) gives a small insight into the new programme, starting at 9.45pm tonight, which is an in-depth and honest look at this aspect of Irish soccer.
As the show progresses, viewers see what winning and losing means to the club, its managers and players. The interaction between manager and parents develop as the season does, and documents the ups and downs that every team around Ireland goes through during their respective league campaigns.
The highs and lows are also evident from the players, as they all hope for a chance across channel and a shot at the big time.
The six shows gives a rare insight into football in Ireland and deals with the same issues dealt with at all clubs across Ireland and is a must watch for football fans in Ireland.
