Blues snap up Hyland for 2013

Goalkeeper Craig Hyland has joined Waterford United’s ranks for the 2013 season after they finalised his signing tonight.
He starred with Longford Town last year and kept an impressive eight clean sheets in his 26 appearances in league duty.
It comes as quite a surprising coup for United given that last month Crusaders had confirmed the signing of Hyland for the new campaign.
However, he soon decided that the travel difficulties would be too much and his contract was cancelled with mutual consent.
The Dubliner is based in Naas and had preferred moving to a club closer to home which he has now managed to do.
He will face tough competition for the coming season with another excellent goalkeeping prospect in Robbie Hughes.
