Paul Green called up for Poland game

 

Paul Green has been handed a late call-up to the Irish squad for this Wednesday's friendly with Poland, replacing injured Hull City midfielder David Meyler.
 
The Leeds player will join the rest of the squad at their Malahide base in the morning.
 
His call-up comes after Everton's Darron Gibson turned down an offer to join the squad, citing an injury, continuing his exile from the international setup since last summer.
 
Anthony Pilkington and Aiden McGeady were already ruled out of the game last Saturday because of injury.
