Blues seal Kavanagh and Coady signings
Waterford United have confirmed the signings of Gavin Kavanagh and Micheal Coady for the 2013 season.
Gavin Kavanagh, a commanding centre-half, makes the move to the RSC from Cork City who he joined in 2010. After two-and-a-half season’s in Cork, Kavanagh has moved to help Waterford United in their promotion bid this season.
The 25-year-old Dubliner will be looking to grab a starting spot in a growing Blues squad.
Michael Coady returns for his second spell at the RSC, having joined the Blues from Carrick in the summer of 2010. The defender has trained with his new team mates and will look to make the left back spot his own this season.
Coady spent an 18-month period at the club before a return to Carrick United. The 23-year-old is a the tough-tackling and attack-minded left back.
