Yeovil Town complete Dawson signing

Yeovil Town have completed the signing of Shelbourne’s combative midfielder Kevin Dawson on an initial six month deal.

The 22 year-old has joined Yeovil, having spent the last two seasons with Shelbourne. Having begun his career with Sporting Fingal, he joined the Tolka Park outfit at the beginning of their 2011 First Division season, and went on to become a key player for the club.

Dawson, who will be eligible for selection from January 2, joins former Bohemians striker Paddy Madden at Yeovil, and was understandably delighted at sealing the move.

Talking to Yeovil Town official site he said: "I am over the moon to sign for Yeovil Town. I am friendly with Paddy Madden, who has only good things to say about the club. I am really looking forward to playing in green and white."

Stay tuned to Extratime.ie tomorrow for an interview with Kevin Dawson on his move to Yeovil Town.
