Shamrock Rovers have added to their squad for 2013 by securing the signatures of Conor Powell, Barry Murphy and Danny Ledwith.

Powell joined the Hoops from Sligo Rovers at the start of last season and made 26 league appearances on the left side of defence.

Goalkeeper Murphy is returning for a second spell with Rovers having graduated through the club’s youth ranks before breaking in to the first team in 2005. He was first choice keeper at the club for four years until the arrival of Alan Mannus in 2009. The following season Murphy moved across the city to rivals Bohemians where he spent two seasons before a move to St Pats last year.

The Hoops also appear to have signed Danny Ledwith from UCD. The left sided midfielder, who announced his move via twitter, joined the Students from Arklow Town in the summer of 2010 and went on to make 46 league appearances over the last two seasons.
