Drogheda do some business

Drogheda United have announced three new signings including UCD pair, midfielder Paul O’Conor and striker Graham Rusk. Last season’s league runners-up have also secured the signature of Shelbourne midfielder David Cassidy.

 

O’Conor first broke into the Students’ first team in 2010 and in 2011 he was ever-present, appearing in all 36 of the club’s Premier Division games. He made  a further 30 league appearances in 2012.

 

Rusk made 69 league appearances for UCD over the past three seasons, scoring sixteen league goals.

 

David Cassidy has played with Home Farm, Derby County, Kilkenny City, Shamrock Rovers and Dundalk, but spent the last four seasons with Shelbourne.

 

Apart from their new signings, Drogheda have also announced that Alan McNally and Alan Byrne from last season’s squad will remain with Mick Cooke’s side for 2013.
