Bray Wanderers vs. Derry City
Now safe from the threat of relegation, Bray Wanderers welcome third-placed Derry City to the Carlisle Grounds on Friday evening (kick-off 7.45pm) looking for their first home win since August. Derry, meanwhile, will be continuing their quest for runners-up spot behind Bohemians.
The Seagulls go into the game without the suspended duo of Daryl Robson and Patrick Kavanagh. Both Gary Cronin and Derek Pender will have to undergo late fitness tests ahead of the game.
Speaking after Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Shamrock Rovers at Tolka Park, Bray boss Eddie Gormley said: "There wasn't a lot between the sides on Tuesday night. We gave away two poor goals but we showed a lot of character. The substitutions refreshed things and we kept going and deservedly got back into the game."
Derry will be without three first team players for this match. Peter Hutton misses out with a groin injury, while Sean Hargan will be unavailable due to a hamstring injury. Gareth McGlynn is suspended. Ciarán Martyn, however, returns to the squad after recovering from his ankle injury.
Looking ahead to the game, Candystripes boss Stephen Kenny said: "We can't afford to let up at this stage of the season. Bray are the only team to beat us in an away league game this year, so we know that it will be a tough game. The team have been playing well recently, in some very big games, and confidence is high in the camp. But, in saying that, Bray have had a good result with a draw against Rovers so they too will in good spirits, but hopefully we can put on another good performance and get a positive result."
The referee for this clash will be Mark Gough.
