Achilles knock not expected to keep Keane out
Captain Robbie Keane missed the Republic of Ireland's training this morning with an Achilles injury, but assistant manager Marco Tardelli has insisted he will be fit to face Germany at the Aviva stadium on Friday night.
Keane sustained the knock following a tackle from Paul McShane in training yesterday but he is still expected to line-out as a lone striker against Joachim Loew's side.
Keith Andrews only took part in the opening half of today's session, though Tardelli added he is not suffering from an injury.
Keiren Westwood, meanwhile, returned after spending yesterday in the gym instead of on the pitch.
