LONGFORD TOWN

Longford Town will be looking for their second consecutive home win when they host Wexford Youths tomorrow evening.

Tony Cousins will have to plan without Jeff Flood, Noel Haverty, Gary Shaw and Daniel Purdy who all miss out through injury.

The Town have picked up four points from two games since a surprise home defeat to Finn Harps last month, but they can ill afford to drop any more with Limerick opening up a six point gap following a victory over Mervue United.

WEXFORD YOUTHS

Wexford Youths travel to Flancare Park hoping to pick up their first win over the promotion hopefuls this season.

Shane Keegan will have a full squad to choose from, with no suspensions or injuries reported ahead of this game.

Keegan spoke to wexfordyouths.ie  and he believes that recent results gives Wexford a serious chance of clinching fourth place.

“What The two results (in the league) have done is given us a serious fighting chance of getting that fourth place, effectively what it’s done is put fourth place in our own hands, now it’s also in Finn Harps own hands and Athlone’s own hands as well because we all have to play each other but if we win the majority of our games from now until the end of the season we finish in fourth place regardless of what the others do.”
