Turner and Hoops part ways

Shamrock Rovers have confirmed that Chris Turner has left the club for personal reasons.

 
 
The midfielder had two months to run on his contract with the current league champions but they have agreed to part ways by mutual consent.
 
 
Turner is now expected to join Scottish First Division side Dumbarton before the transfer window shuts on Friday night.
 
 
A statement from the club said: "We would like to take this opportunity to thank Chris for his service to the club over the past three seasons and wish him the best for his future career."
