EA Sports Cup semi final draw made

The draw for the semi-finals of the EA Sports Cup was made on Monday evening with Shamrock Rovers paired with First Division side Limerick while Drogheda United will host Sligo Rovers in the other clash.
Limerick, who are currently second in the First Division, have already beaten Cork City and Bray Wanderers to progress to the last four of the competition and now Pat Scully’s side can look forward to a trip to the home of the Champions in early August.
In the other semi-final, Drogheda United will face the 2010 winners Sligo Rovers at Hunky Dorys Park. United, who have won the competition once, beat rivals Dundalk on penalties in the last round while two time winners, Sligo easily defeated Derry City 4-0.
The ties will take place on Monday 6th August.
