SLIGO ROVERS

Sligo Rovers go into Saturday's televised game against Bray Wanderers (kick-off 3.45pm) sitting top of the table, looking to extend their lead at the top to seven points for at least 24 hours.

Alan Keane is available for selection again but his defensive partner Jason McGuinness is expected to miss out due to a hamstring injury. Ryan Connolly could make his debut, but Jeff Henderson and Seamus Conneely may have to wait until next week's game in Derry as the club wait on their International clearance.

Ian Baraclough spoke to sligorovers.com ahead of the game and has said that he feels Bray Wanderers are a team who could surprise anyone. "We have plenty of options with such good numbers available this week. The new lads that have come in have trained with us and we'll make a decision on them, pending clearance. "It is good to be playing before St Pat's and Shams and hopefully we can achieve a positive result that will put pressure on them. Bray are capable of springing a surprise against anyone. Pat Devlin will probably be disappointed they haven't done it more this season because I've learned he gets the best out of what is a talented group of young players.

"We're hoping for a good attendance to get behind us, see the progress on the new stand and experience the good vibe at the club on Saturday and we'll do our best to get the right result."

BRAY WANDERERS

Bray Wanderers visit The Showgrounds on the back of a poor run of form since their return to action from the mid-season break.

Pat Devlin will have to plan without the suspended Sean Heuston and possibly Dave Webster who doubtful with an injury, but Kevin O'Connor and Brendan King could both be in line to make their debut for The Seagull's against the League leaders.

Devlin spoke to braywanderers.ie following last week's defeat to Cork and admits performances and results need to be better ahead of his side's visit to Sligo. "We need to get back to the way we were, we should be better after the break, we need to put in better performances".

"Sligo are one of the best teams in the League and it will be difficult on Saturday, but we have been in this position before and we need to bounce back and what better team to do it against".

Referee: Graham Kelly.

MATCH STATS

Bray Wanderers haven't won in their last 11 trips to The Showgrounds.
