Sligo sign Henderson and Conneely
Sligo Rovers have announced the signings of Jeff Henderson and Seamus Conneely until the end of the season.
Centre-back Henderson has previously played for Newcastle United, where he spent seven years, and had a loan spell at Gateshead in the English football league.
The 20-year-old first became a Magpies player when he joined Newcastle’s under-14 team.
Right-back Seamus Conneely joins the Premier Division leaders having spent 18 months at English League 1 side Sheffield United.
He previously played for Galway United in the League of Ireland from 2007 until 2010. The 23-year old has represented Ireland at under-21 and under-23 levels.
Ian Baraclough has now signed three players for the Bit o’ Red following the capture of former Derby County man Ryan Connolly.
