Shamrock Rovers to face Swedish side Malmo FF

Shamrock Rovers have announced they are to play Swedish side Malmö FF, in a friendly match on Sunday June 17th 2012.
In what is a return match for the friendly match between the two sides in Malmö last November, the Hoops will host Malmö FF at Tallaght Stadium on Sunday June 17th, kick off at 3pm.
Malmö are the most sucessful club team in Swedish football with 16 Leagues and 14 Cups. Both the Swedish Allsvenskan and the Airtricity League play a Summer season schedule, so this mid season break friendly match for both clubs will be valuable preparation them for European football next month.
Malmö FF won their league in 2010, finished 4th last season and are currently in second spot this season. Malmö FF will be in Dublin for a number of days to include a training camp and the match against the Hoops.
Individual match tickets are €10 for adults and €5 for concessions. Tickets will go on sale from Saturday June 2nd at the club ticket office. The promotional offer of 2 adults and 2 children (u14) to the match for only €20 is open until Saturday June 16th as part of a Father Goes Free! offer for Father's Day.
