SD Galway -v- Finn Harps
SD Galway
SD welcome Finn Harps to Terryland Park for the final game before the break with both sides looking to take a positive result into the mid-season rest. Kick-off is at 7.45 pm.
Nicky Curran serves the final game of his suspension. Paddy Quinlan is back training for the Galway club but is unavailable due to examinations this week. Brian Gaffney is out with a hamstring problem.
Finn Harps
The Donegal side travel to Galway off the back of a heavy defeat at the hands of neighbours Derry City in the FAI Cup. Manager Peter Hutton will have to plan for the game without Blain Curtis who became Harps third player to have their season cut short due to the dreaded cruciate ligament injury.
“It doesn’t rain but it pours,” sighed Harps boss Peter Hutton. “It’s another massive body blow to both ourselves and to Blain. It’s a nightmare situation. We must’ve run over a thousand black cats! It’s just really, really unfortunate that we have three players that have suffered such severe injuries to keep them out for the season.”
Harps will be missing long term absentees Stephen O’Donnell and Hugh Carlin, along with Keith Cowan while Shane McGinty is a doubt.
Kevin McHugh and Adam Clarke will also sit out the trip to Galway due to suspension.
Referee: John Grimes.

Kevin McHugh is Harps leading scorer this season with five goals in all competitions.
