BOHEMIANS
In-form Bohemians will take on bottom of the table Monaghan United at Dalymount Park on Friday night (kick off 7.45.p.m).

After a slow start to the season Bohs have picked up seven points from their last four league games. They have managed back to back league victories against Cork and UCD.

However manager Aaron Callaghan is not in the mood to be complacent.

“We go into every game expecting to win but sometimes it doesn’t turn out like that. We can lose the game by not working as hard as we have been, so we’ve got to make sure the preparation is right. We’ll continue with the tactic of having three guys up front, it seems to be working well for us.”

Callaghan is not expecting an easy time of it against Monaghan United.

“They’ve gone to Tallaght and restricted Rovers to a couple of late goals, and the Cork result is neither here nor there, they could easily have been two up. I know Roddy (Collins), he’ll have them up for it, especially coming back here.”

Dwayne Wilson returns to the Bohemians squad following a family commitment. Striker Dave Scully will again miss out through suspension.

MONAGHAN UNITED
Monaghan will be hoping to steady the ship after last week's 6-0 hammering in Cork. They are currently bottom of the table having picked up just two points from their first seven league games.  Both Alan Byrne and Aidan Collins are still out through injury for them. However Paul Whelan, Robert Bayly and Bobby Ryan may all return.

Keith Quinn and Willo McDonagh both miss the game through suspension.

Monaghan boss Roddy Collins is looking forward to a return to his former club.

“I’m looking forward to returning to Dalymount Park to play Bohemians – a venue and a club that I have some great memories of from my time there. Our lads have endeavoured to put the memories of the bad result behind them with some excellent training sessions during the week and all are keen for this encounter with Bohs.”

Referee: Dave McKeon.
