Dundalk have been awarded home advantage for the FAI U19 Enda McGuill Cup final after a draw in Abbottstown this morning.

The Lilywhites will face Cork City at Oriel Park in the first week of May, likely to be Sunday the 6th, after overcoming Bohemians in their semi-final on Tuesday night.

A goal from Karl Martin midway through the second half ensured the Louth side's progression into the final. They are currently in second place in the U19 Northern Division and have been a real surprise package in the cup.

City, meanwhile, reached this stage after defeating Waterford United in extra time at the RSC last night, a 119th minute penalty from Gary Buckley sending them through.

The Leesiders are top of the Elite Division, six points clear of Shamrock Rovers, and need just four points from their remaining three games to crown the first part of a possible double.
